Even when someone breaks up with another person, sometimes the habit of being together and talking remains there because the other person would probably feel the gap in his/her life just as much as the person they broke up with. He’s giving me good feedback but its delayed. So I sent out my initial first text, and he responded well….. The next day. So to prevent looking desperate I waited a full day to respond. My second rapport building text he kinda ignored. So I gave it three days and tried again. I got good feedback but he ended the conversation. We had agreed to always be good friends if we ever broke up and stay close, so after he started talking again I treated him like a close friend and I tried to find out why he'd broken up with me so i could clarify anything id done to upset him. I know right now can be difficult but it’s important you pull back and give him space to see if he will show up for you. Hi, my boyfriend of 4+ years broke up with me. We went through about 2 months worth of breaking up. Sleeping in motels, gradually moving out back into my step-dads. Biologically and traditionally males chase females and females choose which male they want as a mate.
